The breakfast is a highlight
The stay at Antico Borgo Chieti was unforgettable. The location in a charming piazza was perfect for exploring. Each morning, the delightful breakfast, bursting with local flavors, set a wonderful tone for the day. I particularly loved the fresh fruit and yogurt selection, along with that excellent coffee that started every day bright. Andrea and Chiarra provided helpful tips for local gems, and their warm hospitality made our experience feel special.
However, the room could benefit from improved air conditioning. it felt uncomfortably warm at times, particularly during the afternoon. While the other amenities were great, I wish there had been a few more savory breakfast options available. Despite these minor drawbacks, the charm of the place and the beauty of Chieti truly made the experience worthwhile.

charming piazza, clean rooms, local artisan shops
Room temperature struggles to stay below 22 degrees!!! Lack of air conditioning control is frustrating, especially when reception closes early!!! A bit more attention to cooling issues could enhance comfort significantly!!!

The location in Chieti is delightful, as it puts you right in the heart of
the historic city. I appreciated the warm hospitality of the staff, especially Chiarra, who made the mornings brighter with her coffee skills. The room was spacious and clean, though the breakfast could benefit from more savory options instead of mostly sweet pastries.

Excellent walking location near museums and parks. Unique blend of quiet comfort and sizable rooms that are well-kept.
Room temperature reached only 22 degrees at night, which may be a concern in warmer months. A bit of inconsistency in room quality, with some feeling standard compared to others. Beds felt hard, and sheets could have been softer for better comfort.

We had a great time exploring the local museums and parks. The hotel was clean, well-kept, and perfectly located for walking around. The staff were really friendly and pointed us to an amazing restaurant just five minutes away for dinner. The breakfast was decent, making it a good value overall.
During our stay, the room got a bit too warm in the afternoon even with the A/C on max.

Cleanliness and friendly staff stood out during the stay. The room boasted a comfortable atmosphere and a good supply of toiletries, which made for a pleasant experience. Unfortunately, the dining situation was lacking. the breakfast offerings were quite basic, and there was no dinner service available. Additionally, the room temperature was uncomfortably warm in the afternoon despite the air conditioning being on high, which detracted from the overall comfort.

The breakfast included delicious locally caught fish and a great variety of fresh fruit, which made for a pleasant start to each day. The atmosphere in the charming piazza was perfect for relaxation and exploration. However, the air conditioning struggled to keep the room cool during the hottest parts of the day, making some afternoons uncomfortable. Additionally, there was no dinner service available during our stay, which limited dining options on-site. Overall, it’s a wonderful place with great amenities but could improve on comfort and dining availability.
